    I need to lift this 1150 6cyl off the back to repair the transom. Lift rings are $30 on Ebay and I'm already way over my budget. Anyone know a good way to lift this monster off without shelling out that kind of dough for a stupid bolt???

    Just got this boat. Been trying to get the motor to fire up after rewiring the engine harness. The wires were so corroded I know he was lieing about it running.     Should this be tilting an 1150??? I'm asking because I just bought a 77 Sleekcraft with an 1150 and a 1400/1500 pump. The pump has a red warning sticker that says it's a high pressure pump.
