I have a 1985 Mercury 135hp black max V6 outboard motor. while running, the temperature increases directly proportional to the increase in rpm.<br />At around 2500 to 3000rpm it's at the 1/2 way mark on the temp gauge. at 4000-5000 rpm it's at 3/4 or a hair over. at idle its just under the 1/4...
