    Wont go into gear

    I had some problems today and replaced the water pump. Now it wont go into gear. So I took the lower unit back off and checked the gear stem thingy on the lower unit and it just spinns. What have I done? I didnt hit anything and dont know about spun prop, I hope that aint it.

    Hydrolic stering on a 30hp

    Mine is froze up... I was able to remove the cable from the shaft and not sure how it works. The shaft ( the cable side) side will move in and out but the other end of the shaft wont come out. Will this move in and out? Mine broke ?
