    1988 merc 100 2+2 exhaust question

    So if I have learned anything so far I the exhaust exits through the prop, but at idle on the lake the other day the waves crashing into the transom and up on the engine cowl...it was sounding like it was hitting exhaust and making smoke....does this sound normal? Does the motor exhaust higher...

    trolling motor size recommendations

    I have a 16' v hull and I have decided on a Minn kota with ipilot, Would it be worth it to get the more thrust 24 volt or just stick with 55# 12 volt? I was thinking the terrova model.....any experience would be appreciated.....and most of my trolling would be long days long lining or downrigging

    Is this the best prop for my boat?

    I have an 88 sea ray seville 16' and I use it mostly for fishing..I have tried trolling with it, but it seems to be around 2-3 mph at idle. Question is can I get a different prop to slow it down a bit? The numbers on my prop are 17p....im guessing thats the pitch? Thanks for the help folks...
