I have a 120hp 1992 Bayliner with the L drive, I damaged the lower unit. I bought a replacement on ebay but the Shift Lever (rod) on the replacement lower unit is much longer than the one on my original. Can I unscrew the lever (rod) from the lower unit on both of the units and trade them...
