    I have my mercruiser 140 engine removed, I am replacing the rear main oil seal. Does anyone know when you order the seal if a tool comes to remove the seal opposite the cap seal. It is a split seal. If not does anyone know where to get one or what it looks like?

    Oil check

    I have a 1986 century with a 140 merc. Should the oil be checked with the boat on the trailer or in the water? On the trailerwith the trailer level the dip stick shows one quart over fill, in the water the stick shows full. Any advise welcome!
