    parts x-changing

    will the stator & trigger off a1994-150 hp force work on a 1989-85 hp. I know that there are a couple more wires. Can these be skipped ? . I am poking in the wind thinking that they will work. only a thought. Thanks Ray

    1989 - 85 Hp - spark follows cdi unit

    Model 856y9c/serial 1087. did not have spark on cyl. #3. Bought new cdi & installed, still no spark so I changed the cdi's around (there is only 2 of them on this motor) & wired accordingly.
