    Merc 500 - water coming out of spark plugs

    Hi, <br /><br />I have and older Merc 500 50hp outboard (around 69-71 model) and it's dribbling out water around the base of at least two of the spark plugs. Is this bad news ? <br /><br />What is the likely cause of this and what is involved in repairing it ?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
