    2002 merc 50hp ob backfirering though the exhaust/missing on 2 cylinders. Swith box b

    Cleaned the carbs, rebuilt the fuel pump, Comp from top cyl down is 118, 119 120. Think it could be the switch box. Any ideas? Thanks.

    My 1971 Starcraft Starchief resotred i '08. Before and after pics.

    Restored in Jan./Feb of 2008. Replaced the Johnson 115hp (1971) wit a 1989 88hp Evinrude SPL with power trim and tilt. The 115 ran good but had a stretched connecting rod.
