    Hi all,<br /> I have a Dejon 14 cabin boat circa mid 1980's and I'm thinking of fitting a 25hp 4-stroke but at 96kgs the engine is a lot heavier than the 20 2-stroke I'm using at present.Has anyone any idea what the max Transom weight is for this boat?Can't find any indication on the Transom...

    Mariner or Yamaha????

    Hi Guys,<br />Got a Mariner 20 I'm rebuilding.The engine plate reads: YAMAHA 20A with the serial No.653 L 300386.Does this No. make it a 1977 Mariner?Stamped in the bottom corner of the plate is the letter U.I'm told this makes it a 1978 yamaha?A local repair shop said it was a japanese built...
