    no ignition on 25HP evinrude

    I just got a 1977 25HP Evinrude from a friend and I can't get any spark out of her on either cylinder. Is there a way to check the power pack with a multi-meter or is that not likely the problem. What about checking the coils? I hate to have to take it to a dealer as it would probaably cost more...

    Hiawatha motor

    Hi Guys, just ran across an old Hiawatha motor and need help finding year and horsepower. The model # is; 25 7971 and the serial # is; 115488. I think it is a 5 hp but not sure. Thanks for the help!!

    evinrude identification

    I'm looking at buying a 15 hp evinrude and need to make sure that the year is what the guy is telling me. The model # is 15604R,Serial # is E0001738. Is there a chart somewhere that gives this info?
