    Anyone know where an inexpensive used CD ignition box that fits a 1978-1884 Chrysler, 7.5 H.P. can be found? Wires on this one supposedly are heat damaged and melted?? Motor appears to have good spark but won't start. Thanks for your help in advance.

    Merc "200":1968-Kill Button Wiring

    I have a 1968 20H.P. Mercury 200, I had some work done on the ignition system and whoever did it forgot to hook up the 2 wires for the kill switch. Can someone tell me where they are supposed to go. This is not an electric start model, its manual start.

    1951 Johnson 5 H.P. has Low Compression on both Cylinders

    I have a 1951 5 H.P Johnson model # TN 27, that I just bought and I checked the compression on both cylinders and it is only about 20-25 on each. I pulled off the head and the cylinder walls look good. The motor shows no signs of overheating. Why is there no compession? Could it be reed valves...
