    1988 johnson 60hp vro....have sorted the starting when warm problem...now when started only runs on two cylinders...top cylinder not firing...(pulled plug lead off when running and no difference at all)only runs on two cylinders at low revs but when put in gear and given some throttle third...

    power tilt and trim

    can someone please explain the sequence of ram movements on a tilt and trim system to me as im not sure mine is correct ive read the manual and am none the wiser.<br />Mine does this... when engine fully raised and i lower it the two small trim rams go fully in first then the main tilt ram goes...

    johnson 60hp vro

    My johnson 60 hp vro 1988 starts ok and runs fine but once it has been stopped wont start again.If left for a few hours will start again but runs rough for a while then fine again...any ideas...New plugs have been fitted new fuel line and bulb fitted carb bowls rmoved and floats checked ok...

    johnson 60hp vro model no BJ60ELCCA seriel no B7667268....Engine wont get upto full revs and once stopped difficult to restart when engine was tilted and tried to start had fuel comming out of the air intake and carb cover at front of engine checked plugs but didnt seem to be excessivly wet...

    I have an alaska 500 with a johnson 60 hp vro which has started playing up...cant get high revs and after stopping engine ...wont start again .when tilted had fuel comming out of air intake cover suspected fuel pump diaphram but checked ok plugs dont seem excessivly wet when checked priming bulb...
