    How to change lower unit oil on 1986 Mercury 25hp

    just got the boat and im sure it hasent been changed in forever, just curious how exactly its done... Gas was varnish, had to change the plugs and fuel filter and took a long time to get it running decent.

    Goofy question, how much lateral play should there be on the prop?

    When I pull out on the prop theres alot of play... seems like from the fully pulled "out" position to the fully pushed "in" position is quite noticeable. The prop was replaced before I bought the boat.
