I replaced the transom in a 42' Baja 420ES... After cutting the outdrive holes I noticed a rather large 1/8" gap up to 1/4" in one of the ply wood layers where the wood did not bond in that spot.. Looks as if somthing may have been between the boards preventing it from bonding flat. I appled...
