1992 javelin 389t,92 engine.running 14 1\4x24 raker.had this boat about 6 months.5200 rpms is all i can get by myself,half tank fuel.with 2 people same fuel 4600 4800.no jackplate or hydrofoil.any ideas on tweeking this boat motor combo?thanks,roy
1992 motor.fished about a hour,started engine,ran for maybe 5 seconds,died.started right back up,same thing about 3 more times.made it to marina.same thing.4or5 hours later,hit the key ran like new.stumped,if anyone has ideas i sure would appreciate it,roy
engine runs fine at half throttle,as soon as u kick it up alarm goes off.new,w-pump,t-stat,head gasket,and heat sensor.engine oil pump disconnected,pre-mix 50 to 1.also tach doesn't work any help is appreciated,roy
had trash in float bowl and fuel pump.rebuilt carb and fuel pump.will only run by keeping the bulb full.have put screw clamps on all connections.it sat outside last winter,could carb body b cracked maybe and cause it to suck air?have had it apart 5 times now,getting weary :D .any help would b...
a friend of mine says his engine runs fine at half throttle,but if he opens it up the alarm starts going off.has new w-pump,head gasket,and no t-stat.just leaves the sensor,maybe?any help would b appreciated
hello everyone,been awhile.problem,every third or fourth pull to start,the engineacts like it backfires.it will brake the rope if u aren't careful.could it be timing or flywheel key?thanks for any help.roy
compression 124-126 all cylinders,new wiring harness,new dist cap,plugs.carbs rebuilt.sent to shop,supposedly set timing?once it starts it fires every time till it gets cold.then its h----.
