    Yanmar YSE/12 Oil Pressure to high

    Our boat has an old Yanmar YSE/12 engine. It runs well but the oil pressure is at about 80 psi, though it drops to around 60psi in gear. I was thinking it might be a plugged bypass valve, but ... it doesn't have one. I have removed and cleaned the strainer and have checked the oil pump. No joy...
