    intermetant no start

    Having problem with my boat, If I let my boat sit a day or two it wont crank pull starts fine and will crank after that and once in a while that same day it wont crank again.     Starting battery problem

    Just installed a new dual purpose battery in a boat I purchased, first day boat started fine<br />on muffs couple days later I tried to start again and nothing.     Been trying to start my boat turn ignition key and nothing, did a volt check at the solenoid and got 12 volts, replaced the solenoid and nothing again, finally decided to check fuse box under dash found a 10 amp fuse blown ... replaced and started right away.....     90 hp merc no start

    Hooked up a new battery this afternoon to my boat<br />used the power trim to lower, changed lower unit oil, spark plugs put the muffs on and I turned the key to start and nothing....any suggestions??<br />everything else on the boat operated except to turn over....Newbie to this site...any help...

    Gas from 2003

    I'll be taking my boat out for the first time in about a week, I have a 30 gal inboard tank. The man I bought the boat from said he put stabil in the gas when he winterized it.... will stabil protect the gas from the past 8 or 9 months??? I will be putting muffs on the motor before I take it on...

    New member to this site, Excellant forum, learned alot in the last week of reading posts....one question I had is I just purchased a boat 2000 Fisher 170 HawkSS 18 foot with a Merc 90 hp ELPTO. What does ELPTO stand for, dont have a manual for the outboard. Thanks
