Can any 1 tell me how to test the trigger on my marriner 45 hp, ser# B178197. Also I'd like to know how to test the various electrical components like the rectifier, stator, switch box,ect.<br /><br />Thanx
I bought my first boat! :o It has a 45 hp Mariner, 2 stroke, 4 cylinder engine. It runs great... on the top 2 cylinders, and doesn't have any spark on the bottom two. I switched out the ignition coils and they are fine. I don't have any experience with outboards. It also delivers just 6 volts...
