I also Have a 1980 "Clinton engine" 7.5 horse Montgomery Ward Sea King. Finaly got it to fire with a new used coil. Looks like it's an air cooled engine and I can't find anywhere on the shaft to check & install gear lube. I took it out in the James river anyway (upstream), the motor ran great...
