    How to adapt a Mityvac for use w lower end Evinrudes? Newbie is stumped.

    Any experience w a 1979 6hp Evinrude

    I know it has an odd-ball impeller. I have a chance to buy a nice running one for $150 (no tank) I like the fact that it has CDI and a fuel pump. I have a '53 and a '63 3hp and wanted to try the newer series. I will wait if people think this is not a good year. Thanks
