    85 HP Chysler Charger choke solenoid burnout

    Hello All, I have an 85hp Chysler Charger that has burned out it's 2nd choke solenoind (too hot to touch). Does it require a ballast resistor like old automotive coils OR just bad luck w\ the used solenoid I installed OR incorrectly wired? Thank you agian for your help

    85HP (1978) Chrysler Reed Valves

    Hello, We have an 1978, 85HP Chrysler which has gas coming back thru the 3 carbs while running. I took the carbs off... cleaned and adjusted the float bowls...same prob. Someone mentioned that it may be corroded\dirty "Reed" valves (between the intake and head ?) as the motor was submerged once...

    1978 85hp Chrysler "Charger" wiring on terminal block

    Hello Again, I need some help with the wiring on the terminal block on the engine. When I hook the battery (engine CABLES Black and Red ONLY, NO accessories) up I get a little spark at the post.....ign is key off? I think that this will drain the battery and possibly eventaully burn something...

    Hi All, I would to like find out the firing order of my 1978, 3 cylinder, 85HP Chysler Charger. I don't know which cylinder is # 1 (top or bottom) nor the location of # 1 on the distributor cap as well as the rotation of the rotor.     Hi All, For $400.00 cdn We purchased a 15.5' Tri hull bowrider, trailer and this motor. All need work but the motor needs a starter which I am willing to attempt to rebuild. Does anyone have any good links or info on this motor or starter. Thx u in advance.
