    No Forward and no Reverse

    Merc 50hp 1987 serial # 0b299911<br /><br />I changed the impeller and installed it back the right way but now my prop is free flowing when I put it in reverse or forward. I can go anywhere.<br /><br />Any ideas?

    I have a 1987 Merc 50hp serial number 0b299911. How can I tell if the 2 cycle oil pump is actually delivering oil with the fuel?<br />I have gotten everything else working on the motor and am ready to put it in the water but have this fear i will burn it up due to the oil pump not working...

    Water not pumping Merc 50 HP 1987

    Any thoughts on why I can't get water to pump? I just replaced the impeller and verified it is in the right way. I also have verified the tubes are clear.
