    Corsa exhaust smell

    On my 246 Chaparral with 6.2, I have the Corsa exhaust coming out the side operated by switch. When I turn it on and Im at idle or just in gear, the exhaust smell is present, but only when Corsa is turned on. Is this normal ?

    Is my starter going out ?

    On my mx 6.2l Mpi Sterndrive, when starting it, the motor is slow to start and turn over every time. Symptom is similar to a low battery, but the boat has 2 brand new batteries and still has the issue. Could this be a bad starter or another issue with voltage feed of some sort ?

    I’m in the process of doing a tune up on my 6.2 and noticed the standard spark plugs are discontinued and they recommend the NGK laser Iridium ITR4A15 5599 plugs. Once I got them I realized you don’t gap them. Anyone have experience with these ?

    Just purchased a 2006 Chaparral with a 6.2 and I noticed a slight exhaust manifold gasket leak. I’m curious if I can keep the whole exhaust system with risers and all assembled and just pull the manifold away and put in a new gasket, then reassemble.
