    Crestline boat drain plug

    I have a 1950 14ft. Crestline utility boat and would like to find a spare drain plug for it. This is the type that screws in the floor about 1 inch dia. Anyone have any ideas were one could be had.

    Does lower unite have water drain hole?

    I have a 60hp Johnson while changing the prop with the engine tilted up out of the water i noticed there was water still setting in the lower unite. I was thinking this would not be good. Is there a drain hole for this and maybe this one is plugged up. And if so were is it located.

    What is a good prop slip %

    I have a 17 ft. Saber flats boat with a 1993 Johnson 60 hp. with trim and tilt. Here is my numbers 5200rpm.,2.42 gear, 13/19 omc prop,gps speed 31.5 mph. The boat has a great hole shot but all the above shows a 19% slip. What do you all think. Is this good or should i go to a 13/17 prop. I need...
