    VP 270 - PDS bearing stuck on shaft

    1978 Volvo Penta 270 I have spent hours reading up on the R&R of the pds bearing, but I'm stuck now. The front and aft seals are out, the pds shaft and pds bearing are out. I removed (broke) the small snap ring on the shaft at the bearing, but cannot remove the bearing from the shaft.

    AQ120B spark plug - resistor type?

    I am replacing the plugs in my AQ120B. I know the engine calls for W6DC plugs. I want to put in resistor plugs. The local Napa has cross-referenced an Autolite equivalent. I have been told Autolite are cheap plugs and to not use them. Does anyone have suggestions or input? Thanks
