    Other Serial Number Location

    I have a 1985 Mercury 75 hp 4 cyl. Serial #6613274. Besides the tag on the starboard side of the motor transom bracket is there some where else on the motor to verify that is the correct number. Reason I ask is because the carbs (WM-5) on this motor trace to a 80hp. Just curious.
