    300 Johnson fuel issues?

    I've heard that the big v8 Johnsons have a tendency to starve one or more cylinders for fuel. Is this true and if so is there anything that can be done to prevent it. I'm looking at a boat with a 1989 motor and if anybody has any other tips on these motors it would be much appreciated.
