    AQ125A heat exchanger question. The actual exchager itself,which side is the anti-freeze side of the exchange.Does it go thru the inside(tube side)or the outside(shell side)?

    Another 270 question

    On the dipstick at the bottom there is a flat section(about an inch).Should I fill until the level goes past that or what? 2nd.Question--- The Orings on the drain and dipstick seem to be as good as new.Can I still use them without worry?I keep the boat in the water all summer.THANKS

    I have noticed posts about lower unit water pumps.I was wondering if the outdrive I have has a pump inside as well.I only have delt with the impeller on the motor.I cant find anything in shop manual.

    The guy at the marine store wants $9.98 a quart for my outdrive oil.That seems high to me.My book says sae 10w-30 or 10w-40.Can I get that at any automotive store?what would be better for me?The 30 or 40.Thanks

    easy coolant change

    I have an AQ125A volvo motor.It has an internal cooling system.I would like to change the anti-freeze and check the thermostat.I see a plug under the exchanger and with a mirror I found a plug on the lower half of the block.Is that a plug for the cooling?Is there any other places to drain?     Impeller troubles

    AQ125A seawater pump impeller needs replaced.I cant seem to get it out.I didn't try too hard because I didn't want to force it until finding out how I should go about pulling it out.I'm thinking it should slide right out off the shaft and is held in place with a shaft key.Any help would be great!
