    This is my second outboard ive owned when i bought it it ran fine it sit for few months and now smoke like crazy the thermostat is gunked up bout to order new one could there be any other issuses causing exessive smoke

    1972 sears 7hp wont start

    ok first off this is my first outboard don't know much about them I just bought a 1972 sears eska 7hp model #217-58870 I cant get it to start it has good spark and gas is getting to the carb and bowl but not to the plug what could cause that it wont even start with starting fluid even though...
