    1999 Honda 15hp catastrophic oil loss

    Yesterday I while at full throttle my engine lost power and i noticed the oil lamp turned on. After a quick investigation at the boat ramp I notice oil coming out of the air intake of the carb. It won't hold oil anymore. What happened?? Is it a seal? A gasket?? An O ring? Can i fix this...

    Found this RIB for cheap

    The guy wants a $1000 for it. It's an AB made in 2001. How hard is it to hook up an engine to this thing? Never done it before. Also is it a good buy?

    nothing easier than cleaning a Honda carb

    I have rebuilt Tohatsu 4 stroke, Johnson 2 stroke and the Honda 4 stroke. Honda was the easiest one yet. Super duper quick and easy. JOHNSON 2 steoke 8hp was the worst by far, nightmare in fact. So hard to remove and access bolts, lots of plastic and a fragile cam follower.

    1999 Apex 12 footer rib

    Hey guys. Thinking about purchasing my first rib Apex A-12, its a 1999 with three patches, seems have small amount of fraying. The boat seems to be in pretty good shape with some discoloration on the material (hypalon). Comes with a 15hp honda four stroke in good shape(1999). Is $2000 too much?

    speed difference 12' vs. 13' sib w/8hp 2stroke

    Hello. I have an 8hp 2stroke johnson that runs well. I own a saturn mini cat 9'6" right now. I am going to pjrchase the 12 or 13 foot regular sib style soon. I assume the 12 foot will offer better performance, am i correct?

    Broken cam follower 1986 8hp

    Hey guys i snapped my cam follower while fiddling with the allen screw, seems like it was week plastic (didnt take much). Anyway i ordered the cam follower and a roller. How hard is this to replace? Im kind of an amateur at repair work. Tha ks in advance for any help.

    Nissan 4hp conversion to 6hp

    I have a nissan 4hp 4stroke. Can i replace this carb with lets say a 2010 tohatsu 6hp carb? Will it fit. I was under the assumption that they were all the same from year to year.

    Don't over use carb cleaner!

    Typically i soak my carb in seafoam. I cheaped out today and went crazy with the spray carb cleaner. Well i ruined the rubber gasket on the float bowl. The gasket blew up like a balloon. Now i have to drive 30 miles to get a 9 dollar part. Carb cleaner will destroy rubber o rings and gaskets!
