    have a 98 v-4 90hp evinrude that im just now having time to use it,when i put it up last fall i ran the in boat gas tank empty sprayed the motor pulled the batterys.i have never had to change the plugs as it ran fine although i got a set when i picked the boat up new.so i put the new plugs in.30...

    sparkplug gap

    hi,first post need to know plug gap for 98 v4 90hp evinrude.Saw a older post suggesting.30 and.40. find it confusing.what are you guys recommending it be set at.The local dealer says.42 I say thats nuts so my new plugs just sit there till im sure
