    Thermostat Removal on a 110 Evinrude, 88'

    Hello everyone, have another question for you. To change the thermostats do you have to take the bubble off? Are is there another, easier way to get to them, other than having to pull the power head? DJ if you are reading this, what do you think. Are anyone. Thanks again.

    EVINRUDE 110, 88' STATOR & POWER PACK QUESTION

    RECENTLY REPLACED AND INSTALLED NEW HEAD GASKETS, PLUGS, COILS. NOW NOT RECEIVING ANY FIRE ON THE PORT SIDE. COULD IT POSSIBLY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE POWER PACK OR STATOR, OR BOTH? IF SO REPLACE BOTH, ARE MAYBE STATOR,ARE THE POWER PACK, ANY ONE OUT THERE EVER HAVE THIS PROBLEM? ALSO IF IT...

    88' EVINRUDE 110 NOT FIRING ON PORT SIDE

    Have replaced new coils, all new seals, all new plugs. Everything set to specs. No fire on the Port side at all. Could it be the STATOR are POWER PACK? If so replace one, are does it have to be both?

    1988 yr. 110 Evinrude

    I recently put new head gasket and all new coils. Now no fire on Port side. Only on Starboard side. Any suggestions as why no fire on Port side. Thanks.
