    Is 115 too much.

    I've described before my 15 ft sprint bass boat with a 40 tohatsu on it. I have the chance to get a evenrude 115, the v 4 type. The Transom is in good shape and I can beef it up more. But is a 115 just too much, is it overkill?

    15 ft sprint bass boat, question is would repowering from a 40 tohatsu to 60hp mercury make enough difference to justify the money spent? Sprint goes about 27mph now with 40 tohatsu.

    2 battery hook up for 12 volt life

    If I hook 2-12 volt batteries, positive to positive and negative to negative, I should be able to run my 12 volt trolling motor with longer battery life. Is this accurate, because I know for 24 volt it's positive to negative on batteries to get 24 volts.

    Holes in propeller?

    Does having the holes, on the side of the propeller under the front of the blades really help increase your hole shot rpms? And if it does help, what size holes on a 40 hp s/s prop.

    Spray can clear coat?

    After wet sanding 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit. Rubbing compound, Polishing compound and wax, the old sprint has got its shine back. I was curious if I could wash the wax off with some wax remover and use some clear coat clear spray paint to keep the shine, then wax?

    Removing old letters from fiberglass boat.

    Purchased an older fiberglass boat, scraped all the old hull id letters from the hull. But there is still the shadow of the old letters there. Tried goo b gone, green scratchy pad, alcohol, but the shadows remain. Am I stuck with it like that are is there some secret home remedies?
