    115 TURBOJET RPM INCREASE

    My omc 115 hp jumps up 300 rpm sometimes for a minute somtimes for 15 minutes. 5000 rpm jumps to 5300. this is only at higher rpm levels. New coils and rectifier did not solve issue. Timming problems and electronics module are my next thoughts.

    Most people think the 115 turbojet was a bomb in the rage series I think it has been a great unit. I have run this 1994 boston whaler for 2 years and it has been great. NOW i do have a problem, the motor runs normally at 5000 rpm but will jump up as if it has a NOS system on it and jump up...
