    friction steering screw under steering wheel

    Before I knew it this guy looking at my boat( i was having problems at the boat dock with my boat) took out this screw, never told me(I sen him looking at my steering ) I found it after he left.he never put it back in... . what is it for? I think I got it back in,, but not sure if it went back...

    under steering wheel is this screw

    under steering wheel is this screw this guy gets on my boat, steering is locked up... I turn around and he has removed this screw from under my steering wheel.. I didnt really realize till later he had taken it out,, and never put it back inI looked at it and its not threaded into where it was...

    Stering is locked up

    I have a 1985 Searay. went to go put in the water yesterday, just put on new starter day before.. boat starts like a charm.. start pulling away from boat ramp,,, cant move my steering... any ideas how I go about checking of the problem,,, Im new to all this , can use advise.. <br />thanks to all...
