    Water slow coming out of tell-tale

    I have a 1995 40hp mariner magnum. It takes about 10 or 15 seconds before water comes out of the tell-tale at start up. The engine shoots a steady stream at idle once it sprays out. Is this normal?

    another 5hp Gamefisher identification

    Model # 217586614 Serial # 78002611 Eng id#64335c7061 I have checked discountmarine parts and other sources found here. I would like to know the exact year if anyone could help. The closest i have come up with is 198?. It runs great but i would love to know the year it was made.
