I have a 1987 Mercury 80HP 3CYL engine on a 16ft skeeter bass boat. There are a couple issues with the the motor,
1. The engine misfires when coming off plane, at about 3000RPM, the boat starts to misfire terribly. I put it in neutral and it goes away.. I'm thinking stater.
