I habe a 3 year old outdrive that just started making a knocking noise at low idle. I habe taken everything a part and gimble bearing and ujoints seem good and tight. Where it seems like there is some play is at the yoke where the ujoint assembly attaches to the bearings inside the upper unit. I...
I have been having this issue for a few years now. The motor starts and runs great when it is cold. Once I run a few miles the motor dies at idle. In order to get it to start I have to quickly put it in gear. If the motor cools off I can start it and idle no peoblem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
