    Prop seals or bad drain plug?

    Hello again all, well I just winterized my 2000 Honda 50HP/4stroke. Some thoughts... easy to do but really messy... especially the oil filter... oil everywhere. Any tricks? Plugs were hard to get out... I had to get an 18mm deep socket to get those DR7EA's out and it was a real tight squeeze...

    Illusive Oil Filter for Honda BF50!

    Does anyone know either the Honda Part No, or Fram or other filter that will work on a 2000 BF50? There is nothing on-line (well, *indirectly* I've found out it's a Sierra 18-7911 or the more readily available Fram 3593A.) Is this correct? I've also heard that Fram makes the Honda filter...

    4-Stroke Honda 50 winterizing

    I've had two stroke motors in the past (Evinrudes, Johnsons and Mercs), however, I just purchased a 2000 Honda 4-stroke. Unfortunately, the guy I bought the boat from does not have the manual. I assume winterizing procedures are the same as the 2 strokes... that is, changing the gear oil...
