    1985 60hp mercury 3 cyl cranking timing degree?

    I am not sure completely on timing degree. The book says 28° cranking and at 5300 rpm its 23°. I've seen on here people recommend 21°so does that mean its 26°cranking? Just dont want to hurt my motor but having the wrong degrees. Thanks in advance for your help.
