I have a 1986 mercury 2 stroke . I took the lower unit out and started cleaning the unit while I was doing this a piece fell out. looks like a cam and fits around the spline near the water pump anyone knows the orientation ?
hi, I have a 35 hp mercury 2 stroke serial number oa186088 can`t find any info. I need to replace my lower unit.
is it a long or short shaft? would any other model lower unit fit my outboard.
any info would much be appreciated.
