    30 eln gas line

    The motor I recently purchased does not have the internal fuel filter that leads to the fuel pump. It looks like the previous owner ran the hose directly to the fuel pump. Will this cause any problems. Can I use an in line filter from the tank. Thanks<br /><br />Carl Vicars

    I just purchased a 30 hp 1988 or 1989 yamaha. I have had many johnson in the past. It came with the controls. There are two plugs coming out of the shifter box.One has four wires. The other has three. Is this where the wire harness plugs into? Also, There is no gas hook-up, There is no hose...
