    i purchased this motor at a garage sale for $75.00. thoght it would match up fine with my newly restored 1954 alumacraft model f. the motor is in very good shape and runs good.........can anyone give me an idea of the motor's value? thanks much, tom.

    i have been looking for a motor for my 1954-1958? 14' alumacraft model j and a freind has offered to give me a 8 hp sea king apparently in fine working order. would like to know what year this motor was manufactured (clinton or chrysler??), shaft length, and where i might find copy of owners...
