    I have a old slickcraft boat that has a bad motor and 888 mercruiser outdrive. I want to mount a 9.9 outboard on this boat and use it for a small lake fishing boat.If I fill in the hole on the transom from the outdrive can I buy a motor bracket and mount a small outboard ?     I want to try and repair the stringers under the motor mounts on my boat.I need to know where to cut at? Just cut the top flat section out or do you cut the fiberglass on the side?
