have a 93 40 hp. johnson. carbs rebuilt, timing set, done a linc &sync. took it out on water to set idle, 750 rpms, runs great, but when turning sharp in either direction, it stalls out, whatup with this.

i have a 93-40 hp johnson, had the carbs rebuilt. went out on water motor stallsand shuts off in neutral, went back to mech. he said it was not a carb problem. he ad vanced timing, now it sounds worse,and now is knocking or pinging. what is going on?

i have a 93-40-hp johnson.
anything over 19 mph, it loses power,shuts off, then wont start for awhile, maybe 10 min.
