    2002 Mercury Outboard 200EFI (1200413ZD) Diagnose PCM (859610)

    Any tricks in diagnosing a bad PCM? Engine doesn't have a tone when the switch is turned, cranks but doesn't start. Local mechanic says it might be the PCM but couldn't be sure. I would like to know definitely before spending a grand on a new one. Thanks
