Boat idles perfect. Has good pressure on both low and high pressure pump but Boggs down under load and dies. Will restart but I just have no confidence to not head back to the slip.
replaced filter there was some trash there and filter was replaced mid season last year.
Tank of fuel was...
Engine losing power under load. I ran it out of gas about the same tine it broke an alternator belt. Changed the belt and filled with non ethanol and took off. It died and wouldn’t restart. Changed the fuel filter and cleaned the points on dist cap. Not sure which one worked but it ran good...
