Hope someone can help, I have a 1991 OMC cobra with a 5.8 litre. I had replaced the thermostat and water pump housing and impellar and it works fine with the muffs and a hose, but when I put it in the lake it does not draw enough water and after about 12 minutes it gets hot and smokes the water...
