MDO vs Marine Plywood?

Guys I'm surprised everyone is not all over this. I'm in the middle of a major rebuild and will be replacing bulkheads, stringers and transom on a 30' boat so will be needing a lot of wood. I've priced some marine plywood and at over $100 a sheet it's a lot of money! I've read in these forums...

Can I do this instead of rebuilding my boat stringers

I have a 30? boat with a flybridge that has some bad stringers and would like some comments with the idea of adding plywood to the outside of the stringer instead of totally rebuilding them. I?m reluctant to cut the original stringers off or up just because I?m concerned of warping the hull...

4 year old gas. Tanks OK?

I just bought a Wellcraft that has had gas sitting in it for the last four years. Do i need to do anything other than draining what little gas is in it or could there be some varnish in the tank? If so what can I do to clean the tank?
Thanks,
Tom

    Stringer repair

I have a 30' Reinell that has bad stringers. What I would like to know is if it would be better to drill hoes in the top of the fiberglass covered stringers and soak the stringers with thinned epoxy and then sandwich the stringers with plywood and glass cloth. Or should I dig out the wood and...
